Wilderness - Chicago Basin

The Weminuche Wilderness is the largest Wilderness Area in Colorado. Highlights of the area include Chicago Basin and its three 14ners, deep wilderness stops off of the Durango/Silverton Train, and sections of the Colorado and Continental Divide Trails. The South San Juan Wilderness is just east of Pagosa Springs and is one of the most remote and least traveled wild areas in the state.
