National Public Lands Day at Canyons of the Ancients

Join us to celebrate National Public Lands Day by taking care of our public lands. We will join Archaeology experts to learn about the historic landscape and follow this up with a trash clean-up and trail remediation to protect our local landscape.
When: September 24, 2022 10am – 1pm
Where: Meet at Sand Canyon Pueblo @9:45a to carpool to Big Point Overlook Camping Area.
Details: Wear work clothes including long pants and closed toe shoes. We will provide snacks and refreshing beverages. We encourage you to bring a picnic lunch to eat with us at the end. Be sure to also bring sun protection and plenty of water.
