Please join us!
Join the San Juan Mountains Association on October 17th from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm at the Durango/Silverton Railroad Grange Hall (next to the train museum) in downtown Durango for our first annual San Juan Mountain Jam.
Come enjoy local bluegrass music inspired by the San Juan’s and celebrate SJMA’s efforts to steward our local public lands. Guests will be treated to an evening of exceptional local bluegrass music from Six Dollar String Band and the La La Bones, local brew, hors d’oeuvres and silent auction items celebrating the natural splendor of Southwest Colorado.
All proceeds from the silent auction will go directly to the Weminuche Wilderness Stewardship Fund to support on-the-ground stewardship projects, improved management and trail access to the Weminuche Wilderness.
SJMA is currently accepting donated items for the silent auction. In particular, we’re looking for vacation rentals, guided trips, gift certificates, outdoor gear and apparel. Please contact Lea Parks Novak (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you would like to make a donation.
Special thank you to our Platinum Sponsors : Alpine Bank, and Backcountry Experience.
