DESCRIPTION:Join Audubon Rockies and Weminuche Audubon Society on this leisurely Bird ID Walk. We will trace the old Wolf Creek Road grade accessed from West Fork Road north of Pagosa. We expect plenty of birds back in the neighborhood with the spring migration! \nWhen: June 11\, 2026 from 9am – 12pm \nWhere: ~0.4 miles up West Fork Road\, FR 648\, Pagosa Springs Area \nWhat to Bring: \n\nBinoculars if you have one\nPlenty of water (recommend 1/2 to 1 liter of water per hour)\, snacks or lunch\nHat\, sunscreen\, weather-appropriate layers\, rain poncho\nHiking shoes or boots for rocky terrain\nCamera\n\nPlease Note: \n\nNo restrooms at the trailhead\nNo dogs allowed\nCarpooling is encouraged\n\nCost: Free!
