SUMMARY:Nature in Four Seasons: Growing Dormant\, Ouray
DESCRIPTION:Are you interested in connecting with the landscapes of Ouray? Do you desire more knowledge of the regional plants and animals that inhabit the San Juans? Or do you simply wish for a fun and engaging exploration that you can share with your family? Join SJMA in Ouray for the fourth exploration hike of the Nature in Four-Season series. These outings will broaden your awareness of the species that call the San Juans home. We will be engaged in moderate hiking\, species identification\, and habitat exploration. Each of the four season hikes will be focused on a different set of “residents” who stand out during the varied seasons of the year. \nFor our fall exploration\, we will investigate how\, as days grow shorter\, mountain species are in full gear to prepare for winter. Join SJMA to witness these changes and find fun and creative ways to capture the color of the season using Naturalist Journal activities. \nWhen: October 10\, 2026 from 9:00AM – 1:00PM \nWhere: Ouray Visitor’s Center at 1230 Main St\, Ouray \nCost: Free\, $10 donations very appreciated \nDetails: Although we love them\, please leave your dogs at home. \n[vc_btn title=”REGISTER TODAY” color=”green” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fsjma.app.neoncrm.com%2Fnp%2Fclients%2Fsjma%2FeventRegistration.jsp%3Fevent%3D5568%26||target:%20_blank|”]\n
