Connie Robb, Treasurer (1st year of first two-year term – term limits at end of 2019)
Connie was born and raised in Iowa. She attended the Des Moines Area Community College for 2 years majoring in biology and psychology. She came to visit Southwest Colorado in 1982 and the mountains captivated her. Six months later she became a permanent resident of Durango. Connie graduated from Fort Lewis College with a Business/Accounting degree and went on to receive her Certified Public Accountant credentials. She has held the positions of governmental/not-for-profit auditor and controller in the construction industry. She is kept busy volunteering for the La Plata County Humane Society, Durango Film Festival, Salvation Army and the American Cancer Society 24 Hour Relay. She also finds time for her true passion of enjoying the outdoors. She can be found hiking, backpacking, trekking, peak bagging, bicycling, cross-country skiing, rafting or canyoneering, depending on where she might find herself.
