Erica Tucker

Volunteer Services Director

A native of Vermont, Erica was drawn west to live and work in the high mountains and sandstone canyons. Her career includes work as an interpretive ranger with the National Park Service in Yosemite and Acadia, and leading educational programs in many nonprofit park partners in California, Utah, and Arizona.

Dedicated to sharing the message of “visit with respect”, she looks forward to a summer on the San Juan National Forest trails sharing “Leave No Trace” information with visitors. Her dog Lucy is usually by her side, while her cat holds down the campsite. Erica loves hiking, camping, coffee, birding and exploring the cultural connections in the Four Corners.
