DID YOU KNOW?
At SJMA, we do a lot! Here are a couple of facts you may not know about us...
SJMA organizes stewardship programs to help protect Southwest Colorado’s public lands. For decades, our volunteers have been the heart of our programs conducting visitor outreach to encourage how to recreate responsibly on these beautiful and sensitive lands. In addition to visitor outreach, our skilled seasonal workers increase the presence of staff on public lands, conduct trail work and monitor wilderness characteristics.
