Rob Lambert

Board Member: At-Large

Rob has been a member of the San Juan Mountains Association since 2016. He and his wife live in Pagosa Springs where he is a semi-retired cardiologist at the local medical center and serves as vice-president of the Pagosa Area Trails Council. He has served as a volunteer for the Pagosa District of the National Forest Service as a sawyer, Trailhead Ambassador, organizer for volunteer monitoring of the West Fork trail and backcountry campground, and more recently, as member of the Wilderness Solitude Monitoring project both in Pagosa and Columbine districts.  He is very excited to be a member of the board of the SJMA and looks forward to helping with membership, participating and promoting a larger scale of wilderness monitoring in southwest Colorado, and perhaps help spread outdoor education into the Pagosa school district.
