Dave Harris

Board Member: At-Large

Dave has practiced law for over 35 years in Colorado and 1st visited Durango in 1972. He has 3 grown daughters. He and his wife, Michele, moved from Boulder to Durango in 2012. Dave is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys all the activities our beloved San Juan mountains have to offer, including backpacking, backcountry skiing, running, mountain/road biking, and giving back to the community. For decades, Dave has volunteered with many non-profits in the Front Range and Durango. He is very committed to our environment and has a net zero home since 2012, electric vehicles since 2013, and faithfully practices the “Leave No Trace” philosophy. Having been an SJMA volunteer, Dave is now looking forward to also helping out on the Board while continuing to promote and protect our breathtaking environment here in Southwestern Colorado.
