Summer Unplugged, Mancos State Park

Get outside, unplug, and make some summer memories! ☀️ Join SJMA for Summer Unplugged –  whether you’re trying something new or just soaking up the sunshine, we’ve got the gear and activities covered! Join us for a day of outdoor fun! Pick one or all of our activities to participate in! You do not need to attend full day to participate in a single activity. Campout is overnight and will end with breakfast on June 28th.

All gear will be provided, including camping gear for those staying for the campout!

When: Saturday June 27, 2026

Where: Mancos State Park (Jackson Lake)

Schedule:

• 9:00 AM-12:00 PM Fishing (Fishing License Required for Ages 16+)
• 10:00 AM-12:00 PM Paddle Boarding
• 12:00 PM-1:00 PM Lunch including: hot dogs & veggie dogs, chips, veggies, cookies
• 1:00PM – 3:00 PM Family Hike
• 3:30 PM Campout

What to Bring:

• water bottles
• sunscreen
• sun hat
• appropriate clothing for the weather & activities (it may range from cold in the morning/at night to hot during the day)
• additional food/snacks you might need during the day (food is provided for overnight)

Cost: ALL ACTIVITIES ARE FREE, and we will cover the park entrance fee for the first 10 vehicles. Additional vehicles are $10-12 for those with a CO license plate, and $15-17 for those with an out-of-state license plate
