Jim Martin

Jim Martin brings extensive legal expertise and a strong background in nonprofit leadership to the San Juan Mountains Association (SJMA) Board. As a local practicing attorney, Jim has experience in land use planning, real estate, and conservation policies.

Prior to his role with SJMA, Jim served on the boards of an outdoor recreation nonprofit, a human services nonprofit, and a chamber of commerce, demonstrating a deep commitment to community development and public service. He is dedicated to ensuring the long-term preservation of the region’s natural resources for future generations.
