Sage Cramer

Education Specialist

Sage Cramer is a recent graduate of Fort Lewis College, where she earned her degree in Adventure Education, Environmental Studies, and Regenerative Food Systems. Originally from North Carolina and Denver, Sage has found her true home in Durango, where she has lived since 2020. Her passion for the outdoors was cultivated during her own childhood, where countless hours spent outside fostered a deep love for nature. This passion drives her commitment to connecting youth with the natural world, helping them develop the same appreciation and respect for the environment that has shaped her own life.

Sage has worked seasonally for SJMA since 2022. Now, as a permanent employee at SJMA, Sage is excited to continue her work, inspiring the next generation of environmental stewards.

When she’s not working, Sage enjoys immersing herself in the outdoors, whether it’s through hiking, camping, or simply enjoying the beauty of nature. She’s also an avid gardener, an artist, and a lover of her cats and frogs.
