Sue Goebel

Board Member, At Large

Sue recently retired after working 30 + years in the Payment Services Industry. She spent most of her sales and marketing career traveling in the West and has always been drawn to the mountains. Originally from Madison WI, Sue settled in Durango in 2019. She couldn’t be happier to call this beautiful place her home. Sue has a passion for the outdoors and, since retirement, spends most of her time hiking, biking, skiing, snowshoeing and golfing.

Sue has been a volunteer for SJMA since she moved to Durango. She has always been so impressed with the organization and was honored to be recruited for a board position. Her goal is to “Explore, Learn about, and Protect” the beautiful San Juan’s for future generations to enjoy the area as much as she does.
