Tom DeHudy

Board Member, At-Large

Tom is a retired investment professional with four decades of institutional money management experience, including with the Harvard endowment and with Howard Hughes Medical Institute. In addition to holding a Chartered Financial Analyst designation and a master’s degree in public policy he also served as a Presidential Management Fellow during the Carter Administration. Born, raised, and educated in Michigan, his formative outdoor experiences occurred along the shores of Lake Michigan.

A resident of Durango since 2015, Tom enjoys investing, regenerative ecology, geopolitics, meditation, hiking, Tai Chi, camping, foraying, archeological outings, making chocolate, and exploring the West with his wife Denise. Tom and Denise support several environmental organizations locally and nationally. They have a son at University of Denver and a son in Washington, DC.
