Spring Songs – Audubon Rockies Bird Walk, Pagosa Area

Join Audubon Rockies and Weminuche Audubon Society on this leisurely Bird ID Walk. We will trace the old Wolf Creek Road grade accessed from West Fork Road north of Pagosa. We expect plenty of birds back in the neighborhood with the spring migration!

When: June 11, 2026 from 9am – 12pm

Where: West Fork Road, north of Pagosa Springs

What to Bring:

• Binoculars if you have one
• Plenty of water (recommend 1/2 to 1 liter of water per hour), snacks or lunch
• Hat, sunscreen, weather-appropriate layers, rain poncho
• Hiking shoes or boots for rocky terrain
• Camera

Please Note:

• No restrooms at the trailhead
• No dogs allowed
• Carpooling is encouraged
