This summer, join SJMA for a family-friendly, fun-filled campfire concert featuring the San Juan String Band. The “San Juan String Band” are San Juan National Forest employees who have combined their passion for the environment with their love of music, to provide interactive music that people of all ages will enjoy. In addition, a SJMA Forest Ambassador will be present to discuss the role of fire in our forests and answer questions about how this powerful force shapes our mountain ecosystem.
When: Thursday June 10 from 7:00pm – 8:00pm
Where: Junction Creek Campground Group Picnic Area
Directions: From Durango, from Hwy 550 and turn west on 25th street (across the street from the La Plata County Fairgrounds). 25th street turns into Junction Road, then Junction Creek Road. Follow this road approximately 5.5 miles to the campground entrance.
