Missy’s past personal and professional experiences demonstrate her competence and concern for wildlands, community collaboration, and conservation education. Starting in the early 1980s, Missy’s passion for the outdoors included wilderness exploration that ranged from the east coast to Alaska. Wilderness and wild places have served her and she is invested in giving back to guarantee these places are preserved and properly cared for. Her organizational skills include board development, volunteering coordinating, event planning and implementation.
